Random Sewing Project

This was a two-day project (3 hours, not 48!).  On day one, I cut out all the pieces and fused interfacing to the ones that needed it.  Day two was just sewing and ironing.  The picture above is the front of my sewing machine apron (that's what the pattern calls it).

After finishing the front with its superstiff pocket piece, the back was a piece of cake.  I made the rookie mistake of not reading the entire notions list and didn't buy grip fabric so my apron has no grip. I improvised and used some of the pink contrast fabric for part of the back.
Voila!  The finished project is cute, and it gives me a place to store my pencils, post-its, and scissors while I'm working.
